Our Story
Bench and Crate was originally established in 2014 in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. We started salvaging lumber and trees to build furniture and home accessories for family and friends. Our hobby quickly turned into a passion. Today, we take pride in our workmanship and strive to provide the highest quality products.
Out reclaimed options are hand picked and sustainably sourced for your home. Every piece, log, or slab has been salvaged from trees that would have otherwise been destroyed. The design of each piece is influenced by the shape of the wood from which it comes. Among the sources of our sustainable woods are: black walnut, cherry, maple, oak and other hardwoods. The protective coating is typically multiple treatments of a natural clear finish.

We are rapidly growing and have recently partnered with various suppliers to better achieve our goal of becoming one of the world's largest, online, retailers of furniture, décor and goods. We will still offer reclaimed and live edge inventory, but we want to give you, our customer, more options.
