Why We Love Copper Trends

Regardless of your specific design style, sometimes you'd like something different, but don't know where to start. Perhaps you want to change your home decor, but don't want to commit to bold colors.

Consider using copper! It's a popular design trend, and despite a common misconception, copper is a neutral. Neutrals aren’t limited to black, white, and brown ... thank goodness! When considering neutral color choices think of nature. Dirt comes in more colors than brown. There’s clay, rich dark soils, different shades of sand, and so forth. All colors when mixed together form a neutral “muddy” color. The only variation is whether it was mixed using warm or cool hues.

This is a neutral color palette sample image. Notice how each shade seems to relate to the other.

If you're still not sure about copper, consider its versatility. It can be paired with deep shades for a more dramatic or masculine effect.

It can be paired with light grays and pale pinks for a softer, more feminine influence.
